The Writing Process
From generating ideas to working with an editor on fine-tuning a manuscript, writing is a complex task. In this presentation, I map out my writing journey from the very first draft of Little Bee: The Buzz About the Party all the way to publication. I'll share tips and tricks for young writers on how to move their stories forward and share my experiences in making stories better through feedback and revision.

Story-Writing Workshop
In this workshop-style presentation, participants will learn how to map out a 6-part story of their own. I'll introduce tips for brainstorming ideas and how to zero in on the heart of a story. As a group, we'll go through the process of taking an idea through the writing process, provinding a foundation for creating their own stories.
