I craft engaging, curriculum-aligned educator guides for children's books which include age-appropriate activities that foster comprehension and critical thinking. I design authentic learning tasks, discussion prompts, and extension ideas that cater to diverse learning styles, providing educators with valuable resources to enrich their students' reading experiences and promote a love of reading.

My parenting stories offer a compelling and relatable glimpse into the journey of raising kids. I aim to capture the emotional elements, both joyful and challenging, that define parenthood. Through vivid anecdotes and thoughtful reflections, I explore a diverse range of experiences, hoping to foster a sense of connection and understanding among readers. I attempt to weave personal observations with practical takeaways, making my stories not only engaging but also supportive and validating for others navigating the complexities of raising a family within the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
My experience as a volunteer magazine editor has been both enriching and challenging. I've had the opportunity to contribute to the magazine's vision by reviewing submissions, working with writers to refine their work, and ensuring the final product aligns with our publication's standards. This role has allowed me to hone my editorial skills, including copyediting, proofreading, and content selection. Collaborating with a team of fellow volunteers has also provided me with valuable experience in advocacy and project management, all while supporting my passion for fully funded and staffed school libraries.
